Herr's Night II - The Return of Chipper
He's baaaaacck! Chipper, that lovable giant ball of fur will
be joining us again for the evening, and once again will be bringing lots of
delicious Herr's snacks with him! This year you'll also be able to have us take
your picture with Chipper!! Those people who have their pictures taken will be
granted access to a page on our website to retrieve the photos. Topping
off the evening will be another round of Herr's/Bengies Trivia during the first
intermission! Bob Koros, Chippers handler for the evening, will have some
tasty prizes for the winners!
Saturday, October 20th
OF THE MARYLAND SCIENCE CENTER PEOPLE
Last year so may kids and adults got their first chance ever to gaze at the
heavens through a telescope that we asked the folks from the Science Center's
Planetarium/Observatory if we could do it again. They'll all be back again this
year (except Sally Goff, who moved to Minisoda) for another night of Astronomy
Bengies Style! Keep your fingers crossed for a crystal clear night, but if
errant clouds roll in we can still talk Astronomy! Did we mention that there'll
also be more way cool NASA and National Geographic giveaways for the kids?

games including his latest in "Saw IV." Showtimes will be announced as
the event nears. "Saw I" will start off the night, continuing through the series
until just after midnight when "Saw IV" Premieres!
Friday, October 26th
Radio Station JACK FM (102.7) Hosts
Jack FM will host, tune
into JACK FM (102.7) for details as they unfold. So far, we do know
that there will be 102 passes given out for free admission to all the
persons in one car. We also know there will be prizes given away here on
that Friday, as well as a contest or 2 held for fun. JACK Personalities may
be here as well.
There is talk that if you
are into Pumpkin carving, if you
carve a JACK O' Lantern promoting JACK FM, there are some
great prizes for the best one! We think the public will be voting,
BUT all of
this is hearsay unless you hear it on 102.7…. JACK FM!

A NIGHT AT THE GEPPI'S ENTERTAINMENT
Actually we're not going there, they're coming here!
Representatives from Geppi's Entertainment Museum (GEM) will be coming out to
not only talk about the museum, but also show us a little bit of what all the
We will be holding a COSTUME CONTEST with PRIZES!!!!!
Everyone attending is invited to come dressed as their
favorite pop culture character! The Contest will begin
at 6 p.m. sharp! We're looking for the most original,
funniest, and scariest and will be judging the following
age groups: ages 1 thru 6, ages 7 thru 13, & ages 14 thru
We'll be holding A SPECIAL EDITION of Leaping Weenie/GEM
pop culture trivia throughout the event! Mike Celmer
will be back with his "TRANSFORMERS" Scion!
A Chinese Auction will be held to benefit PATHFINDERS
www.pathfindersforautism.org! Some of the items
being auctioned include a matted and framed page of
original art from "The Transformers" comic book. The
page was drawn and is signed by renowned comic book
artist HERB TRIMPE! A BRATZ doll, A talking Optimus
Prime "Transformers" toy, and a full unopened box of THE
THREE STOOGES trading cards from Brygent Marketing. More
items will be added as we get closer to the event.
Tickets for the auction will be $1.00 each or 6 for
$5.00. If you've never participated in a Chinese
Auction, simply put, you put the tickets in the entry
box/boxes for the prize/prizes that YOU want to win!
